Shahi Tukaras
Ingredients
- 6 thick slices of Bread
- 225g Sugar
- 225g Evaporated Milk
- 225g white Fat
- 50g Nuts
- 50g Cream
- 2 small Cardomons
Method
- Cut the slices of bread into triangular shapes.
- Fry the bread in deep hot fat until medium pink in colour.
- Boil the milk and sugar in a saucepan.
- Arrange the fried bread in an oven tray and pour the milk and sugar liquid on top.
- Leave to soak for 10 minutes and place them in a hot oven and bake for 10 minutes.
- Pour the cream on top.
- Garnish the dish with crushed nuts and cardomons.
- Serve as a dessert.
